Classics

And just like that, the holidays over and 2016 begun. Weird. The last days of the old year brought some great memories and I can’t wait to see what 2016 will bring!

On the 30th of december, me and my friend Sonia (check out her blog here) decided to meet up to hang out and shoot some outfit photos – you know, your average blogger’s afternoon.

We went to the road between the forest and the city, drove our bikes up on a grassy hill with some logs and just went at it. It wasn’t cold… until we took our coats off! But everything for fashion, of course. I first took some snaps of her (they will be up on her blog sometime in the future), then she took some snaps of me.

I’m not usually that much of a monochrome kinda gal, but my hair is my statement piece now, and I do like a challenge. I hadn’t worn this shirt in a long time, but this combination is so simple yet elegant, that I couldn’t leave it hanging, waiting for better times in my closet! To sprinkle a little more fancy on top I added in the two necklaces, but it can totally do without. Easy, classy fashion – that’s what it’s all about.

After shooting, we went to a café and sat there for hours with the pleasure of good conversation and a nice coffee. 10/10 would do again! General tip: having coffee with people always sparks conversations that are worth having. I hope we’ll get to do this again soon!

What did you do over your holiday?

Love, Ruby
