After getting a taste of it with the fun photoshoot Suus and I had last week, I was, of course, craving more. Unfortunately, we can’t have every weekend of, and there are things that need to be done. Which left me, when I wanted to capture my new lip colour, with only one option: to do it myself. The result: a goofy, time-consuming struggle for a way to see what I was doing. Because my camera does. not. have. a flipscreen. Am I annoyed by that? Why yes, how’d you notice?
Anyway, on to the subject of today: a lip crayon (if that is the correct label) by Maybelline, the color drama intense velvet lip pencil, specifically in Berry much. I already owned one of these in red classic, also a beaut, but not extraordinary. The special thing about Berry much, for me anyway, is that it’s the darkest berry I know and own, and something I have been looking out for for quite some time now. The fact that this specific colour was nowhere to be found should be a tell-tale sign that I was not the only one on the hunt, but in the end I managed to get my hands on it, and boy am I glad I did!
As you can probably tell, I am totally new to this, and I haven’t really gotten the posing-thing down to science. However, it was a (very lonesome) laugh. I hope this was an all-right first attempt and a reasonable display of the lipstick, because I honestly love it and I want people to join my bandwagon, haha.
