Where have I been?

I have been so busy. I never seem to have anything going on, until I do, and it just hits double, triple even. I had a holiday, then there was my last exam week. After exam week, there was oral-week, also known as the week where you really have to finish all those books you should’ve read throughout the year but you didn’t. After orals, it was time for resits from previously mentioned exam week. Then, if you thought it was over, there was last week, where I’ve been practicing songs for open mic night for the majority of my time. And now we’re here.

Yes, now we’re here. Where is here? Here, if we’re going to get down to technicalities, is behind my computer, writing this article. But here is also on the cusp of “starting my life”. In other words, I’m doing my finals in a month’s time and if all goes well I’ll be picking up my high school diploma in July.

Am I scared? Not really, at least not yet. I’ve made it through the past 5,5 years quite alright and I can hardly imagine it going wrong now. Maybe that’s just optimism, but we’ll see. For now it’s time for me to dive into the books. As you might have figured out from my previous posts, this is something I’m horrible at, so I’m going to need all the focus I can get. That’s going to mean I’ll be gone a little longer. However, once these exams are over with, I will have so much time on my hands, you won’t even know what’s coming to you!

Basically, good things come to those who wait. I hope you’ll be there when I get back.
