Jump into spring

Jump into spring

It might be a bit early to start celebrating spring, but to be honest, it’s not a moment too soon for me. Though I was born days after the start of winter (so you’d say I really wanted to experience it) it is my least favorite season of all. The lack of sun and warmth just isn’t for me. So now that I’m not completely out of line wearing skirts and sunnies, I’m going for it!

Spring is a fresh start and because of that, also a time for trying new things (every season is, but any excuse right?). The new thing I tried: a dungaree dress. I have been eyeing dungarees for years, but for some reason they’re a tricky item for me to pull of. After trying on a few and finding the sight of it a not-so-pleasant experience, I decided that they just weren’t for me and I would have to live with just looking at them.

Then I dyed my hair and I guess part of my shame went out the window. Okay, I don’t think the hair was actually that much of a factor, but I got a little more confident and I was willing to give it another shot. After again trying on multiple styles and sizes, I finally found this one and I decided it was time. Now we’re here.

The dungaree dress is from Primark, the t-shirt is from Monki. I know it looks like nothing special, but gosh, it is the comfiest, prettiest-falling t-shirt ever (at least in my history of shirts). Was it cold in my tights? Only a little! The weather has been very March, a.k.a. going back and forth between rain and sun every 10 minutes. I can’t wait to see it slowly turn into more sun, less rain! What can I say, I’m ready for new adventures.

Are you excited about spring as well?

Love, Ruby
