For the past few years it has become an unwritten law that absolutely everyone should be wearing bordeaux in fall and winter. Although I don’t own a lot of burgundy items, I won’t go sitting on my high horse and pretend I’m not part of the mainstream. Because a few days ago, I succumbed to the lure of bordeaux.
H&M do a basics range that has been expanding in the collar and ripped area since summer. And I. Love. It. Collars usually don’t suit me, I find, because they make me look neckless or they accentuate my gorgeous double chins. These shirts, however, are designed in exactly the right shape for me, meaning I don’t look like a head on top of some clothes but more like a classy, well-groomed person. A bit preppy, if you will (and we all know I love that, case and point this post).
The weather was far from perfect for photos, as is most often that case in the Netherlands (in any season). We had to shoot some pictures quickly before it started to poor, and as you can see the wind was having a party too. Still, I do like this weather, it’s so captivating…
