Whoa, it’s been hot around here! Last friday, we basically had a day in the tropical: extreme moist heats and afternoon storm included. Luckily, the weather couldn’t have chosen a better day: both Lizzie, Suus and myself were let out of school early because the final years were having their final stunt: a party to celebrate their final days in the school that pretty much entails them drinking and the rest of the school being let go early. What more could you with for on a day as hot as that? Another great bonus, was that this week is white week: a week in which teachers are officially not allowed to give out marked tests or assignments. In short: it was a very free friday. Knowing this beforehand, and having had a bit of a rough week, I had invited Suus over to do some vegan baking (I decided to go vegan last week, more on that in about a month or so) and, of course, some outfit photos.
As it was almost unbearably hot, I couldn’t not wear a dress, could I? Therefore, I went with this tribal-printed dress from Forever21 – the print is probably not available anymore, but they do a similar cut in different colors, I think. I have grown quite a bush of hair by now, and to keep this out of my face but still down, I decided to tie it up with a very fancy scarf by Hermès, that I got second-hand from my grandmother’s well kept collection. The look altogether, with my trusty white all-stars underneath, made me think of the jet-set of the Mediterranean: Saint Tropez.

What do you wear when the heat is up?
Love, Ruby
