Day Zero Project

Recently, my Bloglovin’ app has decided it won’t show me any more pictures in the posts I read. This forced me to actually go on every blog I wanted to fully read an article on, which in turn led me to finding a page on a blog called “Day Zero”. This sounded interesting, so I clicked the page, as you do, and what I found, was a list of goals, a sort of short-term bucket list. I read the accompanying post, and as it turned out, the Day Zero Project is a project in which you make 101 goals for yourself to complete in 1001 days. This seemed like a super awesome idea, and I immediately wanted to jump in and do this myself, since (as you guys might know) I love working on things that require perseverance, and this is definitely one of those.

At first I figured I could cut this short and, instead of doing 1001 days, do the number of days from now ’till my graduation. Then I realized that if I took a gap year, the 1001 days would end around the same time my gap did. This would both give me room to do more extreme things (bungee-jumping, traveling places), and more time to do them. Only problem: I haven’t got to 101 ideas yet! But since it’s nearly impossible to do this, I figured I could just add some along the way. So without further ado, here it is, from today until the 25th of July 2017: my Day Zero Project. I’m hoping to be writing updates on this every month/100 days, to keep you/me up to date with my progress, and I’m really curious how this will turn out. 1001 days can change a lot, especially when you’re young. This is a new adventure, and I hope there will be people joining me along the way.

Love, Ruby
