Ruby in the Sky

And yet again, I failed myself when it comes to writing this blog. I do like to think that I have written in my diary every single day since the first of january this year, but of course, that doesn’t make up for the lack of typings on here. It hasn’t been just my blog that I’ve neglected, but my Youtube channel too: partly due to technical difficulties involving our well-loved friend google+, but also due to my own lack of time and motivation to pick it back up.

Here’s the thing: exposing yourself to the internet is really scary. You never know if and which people are reading or watching you, you don’t know if those people like what you’re creating, and worse, if you end up regretting something you posted, it’s very hard to take it back. Now obviously, when you are about to post something online for the whole of the internet to see, you check if you’re totally happy with it. But you never know what things others may notice you never even thought of, or if you’ll think differently about what you said years later. Basically, you can’t see into the future.

Obviously, I had a youtube channel that I posted videos on every week, but then there was a break. And the break got extended to pretty much a stop – to that channel at least. And the “stop to create a new channel” kind of became a full on stop. Snowball-effect, basically. BUT behold: now I’m back. Baby steps, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it again soon enough. And I hope I won’t regret it. So without further philosophical ado, I present to you: Ruby in the Sky – the Youtube channel. I hope you enjoy!
