As we’re headed towards February, most people have already had to face it: the common failure of new year’s resolutions. We all wanted to work for it, that wasn’t the point. But 365 days is such a long time! Especially with the most common and radical life changes, like your eating pattern or your exercise routine, the beginning is toughest.
This is why I came up with something: New month’s resolutions. The same principle as new years, but with a shorter term, sort of like an experiment. It’s like Netflix: The first month’s free, so you can try the product before you get full on into it.
Of course, I don’t if this approach will catch on, but I want to find out. Which is why, this year, every month I’m going to set myself a goal or make a resolution. I will write down my state at the beginning and the end of each month, and do a daily journal which I’ll both publish in a post at the end of the period. Apart from that, I’ll still post a regular post on the other second week.
February’s resolution is food related; I’m going to cut out on as much unhealthy foods as I can. I’ll be more specific in my after-post, but really my biggest goal is to eat cleaner, as health bloggers say. We’ll see how that goes!
Bye, Ruby
